About NBMA 1865 Products
Our mission is to encourage individuals to pursue a healthy lifestyle through distance running and walking.
The National Black Marathoners Association (NBMA) is a non-profit charity. Proceeds from the sale of these products are used to support our college scholarships and programs. Our NBMA 1865 logo is based on the ratification of the Thirteenth Amendment, in 1865, which freed the slaves. Afterwards, Black Americans were "Free to Run."
